Academic Search Complete 

Academic Search Complete is the world's most comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database. It contains a wide range of journal articles and other literature across virtually all academic disciplines.

E-books on EbscoHost  

This collection contains over 150,000 full-length e-books in virtually every academic discipline, with significant representation in biblical studies. The database allows for searching within the text of the books as well as title and subject searching.

JSTOR ( Archival Journal & Primary Source Collection )

JSTOR provides access to back issues of important journals in the arts and sciences. The library currently has access to JSTORs full archival journal and primary source collection. Subject areas covered include: humanities, social sciences, business, music, natural sciences, psychology, and language.

Oxford Music Online 

Oxford Music Online provides access to Grove Music Online, the leading online music encyclopedia, as well as The Oxford Dictionary of Music and The Oxford Companion to Music. With over 51,000 articles, Oxford Music Online delivers comprehensive coverage of music, composers, and music history and scholarship. Utilize the Tools and Resources feature to access author resources and subject guides.

Academic OneFile Select is a multi-disciplinary database of journal articles, with over 2,000 journals not represented in other library databases.

IPA Source 

This tool provides international phonetic alphabet pronunciation for hundred of songs, particularly opera and classical, as well as translations into English.

Academic Info ( Resource Directory )

A directory of useful links and resources sorted by specific subject areas. Most links include both printed reference works and electronic resources.

Directory of Open Access Journals 

Full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals, covering all subjects and many languages.

Google Books 

Access part or all of hundreds of thousands of books from university library collections. Google books can also be a great way to search inside books held in the Archibald Library's print collection.

Google Scholar 

Access scholarly literature in various forms including journal articles and conference papers. Also track citations of specific works.
